Additionally, there was a Soviet prisoner-of-war camp attached, the inmates of which were also in an appalling state. Part of the Liberated Method is knowing when it’s not needed because people are already able to access their intrinsic capacity to solve and/or absorb problems.

British soldiers had a leading role in this, helping to hunt war criminals, rebuild industry and help displaced persons. Personnel serving in the British occupation zone were able to watch the trial from the public gallery. While a few looked forward to being reunited with other family members, some felt guilty for surviving when so many of their relatives and friends had died. After weeks of intense fighting, they secured victory, ending the most destructive war in Europe's history. Soviet forces later liberate Auschwitz (January 1945), Gross-Rosen (February 1945), Sachsenhausen (April 1945), Ravensbrueck (April 1945), and Stutthof (May 1945).
