About this deal

Apocalypse How: Maruso predicts that humanity will cause its own extinction by using up all of their own souls. Gasoline Dousing: An enraged Barrachi tries incinerating her own bio-portal after catching Dr. Suga forcing himself on Maruso, by drenching the portal's surface with contents of a jerry-can and threatening to drop a lit lighter when Dr. Suka catches her. In the ensuing struggle to stop her from destroying everything Dr. Suga unintentionally pushes Baracchi into her own portal. Ben K: Yes, but isn't it because you studied such words in vocational school that you had the idea?

His longest work, the three-volume Uzumaki, is about a town's obsession with spirals: people become variously fascinated with, terrified of, and consumed by the countless occurrences of the spiral in nature. Apart from the ghastly, convincingly-drawn deaths, the book projects an effective atmosphere of creeping fear as the town's inhabitants become less and less human, and more and more bizarre things begin to happen. Lighter and Softer: While still contain a lot of Ito's trademark, the story actually is much lighter on the scare and is more plot oriented. Ito: 30 years have passed since I began creating manga, so this book was produced as a 30th year commemorative project. Hara-san was in the charge of everything... An attractive actor of whom Baracchi was a fan. She sent him one of the spirit jewels, which he wanted to share with his fans; unable to break the jewel apart, he fired at it with a gun, causing an explosion of energy which killed him and everyone present.A surgeon working at the same hospital as Marusou. He planned to treat Baracchi's birthmark. He found Piitan abandoned at the hospital and uncovered the truth about the spirit jewels, planning to use them as a sustainable energy resource. He is a manipulative liar who cheats people and seduces women easily. Ito: Well, there's a story called: "Lingering Farewell." It's a tear-jerker, but the way she did it, you'll cry even more than the manga. The music was wonderful, too. Also, I think she did a fantastic job with the Sōichi series... Marusou" had a premonition that dreadful things would happen to her, and she would rather die than face them. "Taburou" met his doppelganger and, believing it to be an omen of death, has chosen to take his own life rather than wait for death to catch up to him. "Piitan" works in a robotics lab and was chosen to be the model for a superior humanoid robot. Since he can't compete with its perfection, he feels there is no longer any point in his existence. "Baracchi" believes that her own reflection has given her a death sentence and that the severe disfigurement affecting the left side of her face is a life of its own growing out of her. She, Piitan and Taburou all believe that another version of themselves has condemned them to die. Balloon Belly: When the jewels build up in Pii-tan's stomach faster than he can vomit them up, his stomach distends grotesquely, which is played for horror rather than laughs. Especially when he explodes. Nobushi: Would you say that most of your works are based on experiences you had and information you learned in your childhood?

Ben K: Judging from the reaction within English-language fan communities when the art book was announced, demand for a translation is high! I'm sure fans would love it. Now, I'd like to ask you a different question. Going forward, is there a kind of manga you'd like to create, or, not limited to manga, something new you'd like to try? On par with Ito's other mangas, as the paradonite jewels come out of various parts of the friends' bodies. Then Dr. Suka starts cultivating the tissues to keep the gateways open and allow them to expand. Five-Man Band: A strange, dark, and not exactly heroic example of this basically shapes the five main character interactions with the Paradoxial Night. Nobushi: I was wondering about something. You say you began reading horror manga at 4 or 5. Kids that age scare very easily. But you were fine with it?

Ito: Hmm... This director was active in the 1970s. He's quite advanced in age now. Dario Argento, an Italian director famous for "Suspiria." I think he would film women very beautifully. Of course, this is just my own personal wish (laughs). Also, William Friedkin, director of "The Exorcist" series... He's also quite advanced in age... I don't know young directors very well. An interest in VR Hara: Yes, it was a 30th year commemoration, but there's more to it. Mr. Ito's works have been translated a lot outside of Japan. So, in addition to commemorating Mr. Ito's 30th year, I also had foreign language translation in mind when I planned the book.

Mad Oracle: After Dr. Suga chains poor Maruso to her bed, her psychic intuition goes into overdrive, and takes her sanity with it, until the tumor is removed from her brain.. Ito: Well, immortality, never dying, is something I think everyone longs for. At some point, we all wish we could be immortal. But Tomie lives her life completely as she wishes. She's haughty yet she captivates men. I imagine women have this desire to act like a princess. They envy Tomie's freedom, that's what I think... Oct 28 NBA Star Rui Hachimura Gets Animated and Possibly Saves the World in New Crayon Shin-chan Episode Victoria's Secret Compartment: After returning from the other side for the first time, Baracchi coolly produces the first paradonite stone she retrieves from inside the chest of her robe and flips it to the spectators. The entertainment value also depends on the person who reads. Some parts the dialogue seems a bit too overdone and boring, but since it’s a volume long piece it’s pretty easy to keep reading and finish without much boredom involved.Ben K: I see. Thank you. Now, I'd like to ask you about this beautiful art book. This is your first one. Was there a reason behind the timing of its publication? Besides touching thematic such as greed and selfishness, the object that depicts greed is highly associated with the meaning of life which the protagonists so highly wanted to reject, that object’s origin is from a play of words that ends up to be explored by the author in a literal sense on the progress of the story, that mindset might seem a bit psychotic, but also highly creative and well thought upon. The own insecurities of the characters, that made them consider suicide, become figurative doors, such doors being the true core of their will to live. Ben K: Jumping forward a bit, you went to a vocational school and became a dental technician, correct?
