One thing about the BRV-X/2: It sounds markedly different depending on where you are in relation to it. Some angles and distances seem to bring out the bass depth a little more, but generally speaking, we've heard somewhat stronger bass depth from portable speakers before. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but the BRV-X/2 is more about its tough build and less about an over-the-top audio performance. You might notice that there are two USB ports on the Braven BRV–1.
