Including, as TCL would want it to, OLED models, with even the latestMLAandQD-OLEDsets falling some way short of the sort of brightness the C845K can achieve. The TCL 65P639K features 4K resolution, providing four times the resolution of Full HD. This means the TV can display more detail and provide a sharper and clearer picture. It also features HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, which provides a wider range of colors and a more excellent contrast ratio, making the picture look more lifelike and realistic.
The TCL 65P639K offers excellent value for money, providing a range of features and specifications at a reasonable price. It’s a versatile TV that can be used for gaming, streaming, and watching TV, making it a great all-around TV for any home. It also offers good picture quality and sound quality, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking for a mid-range 4K Smart TV. While flagship sets with discrete speaker systems will sound even better, for a step-down model the A80L sounds very impressive. This should be a strong consideration for anyone with this sort of budget who is determined not to combine their new TV with a dedicated sound system. Limited viewing angle – may not be suitable for large rooms or spaces where the TV is not directly in front of the viewer.
If that wasn’t enough to tempt you, it also delivers excellent picture quality. This fact does bring us quite early on to the C845K’s biggest picture weakness, though. Namely, a slightly cloudy look that can sometimes appear with shots and scenes that contain a bold mixture of very bright and very dark content, as the local light controls wrestle with achieving the best balance of local contrast and HDR brightness. In fact, our testers found that it offers the most spacious soundstage available on a TV’s inbuilt speakers, beating even the Sony A95K we compared it against. The TCL Q6/Q650G QLED is a decent budget model. It's interesting for gamers as it has 1080p @ 120Hz and 1440p @ 120Hz with resolution halving. Still, the Hisense U6/U6K is a bit better overall for the same price.
The best 65-inch TV we've tested is the Samsung QN65S90CAFXZA, commonly known as the S90C. It's an impressive TV that delivers fantastic picture quality and looks amazing with any content. The TCL 65P639K has a wide viewing angle, meaning you can enjoy the same picture quality no matter where you’re sitting in the room. This is especially useful if you have a large family or like to entertain guests frequently. The TV also features local dimming, which helps to improve the contrast and reduce glare, further enhancing the viewing experience.Another tab in the Google TV home screen takes you to the Live TV portal. This presents over 800 channels of free-to-stream TV shows and movies from ad-supported apps. The channels are presented in a time-based program grid, and are grouped into themes such as News, Movies, Popular, Classic TV, Food… the list goes on. The 65-inch take on LG's C3 earned just the four stars, but that was for a very good reason: it wasn't a big improvement on the C2. This allowed rivals such as the Sony A80L to gain ground. But if it's gaming we're talking about, LG's effort is the better bet. so good for its money that it pretty much redefines the whole TV market in a single blaze of ultra-bright glory."
