About this deal

Gardening for Toad: Lake Seed: You'll find a seed sitting at the bottom of the lake (location 7 on our map). Take this seed to Toad's garden in the east and throw it into one of the plant pots there - if you wait a while, it will sprout into a fully grown plant containing a Power Moon.

Jump on the Toad’s head in the castle entryway to get access to this ledge, where you can jump and hit this hidden treasure. After the underground portion, jump in the spot shown above to get this chest. Places to Relax [ ] Dust-Up in New Donk City: Rematch: Enter the tower at location 35 on our map, and then the painting inside, to start a rematch with a boss from New Donk City. The fight is similar to the first time, except for the fact that you'll have to make a much higher number of successful shots. Focus on dodging the fireballs coming your way as a priority, landing shots on the boss as and when you can - you'll get the Power Moon when you win. The Toads of the Mushroom Kingdom value their relaxation and have created several lovely spots on the castle grounds for that purpose. Neither too small nor too large, and with just the right amount of ornamentation, these plazas and courtyards exemplify the best traits of this kingdom. Slightly Scary Woods [ ] Gardening for Toad: Pasture Seed: Just south of the sheep pen in the west of the Kingdom, you'll find a seed sitting underneath a tree (location 6 on our map). Take this seed to Toad's garden in the east and throw it into one of the plant pots there - if you wait a while, it will sprout into a fully grown plant containing a Power Moon. This hidden chest in the Mushroom Castle contains one Frog Coin. There is a method for getting an infinite number of Frog Coins after reaching the middle part of the game, so it's okay if you miss this one!

Found with Mushroom Kingdom Art (see location 25): Inside Peach's castle, look at the wall in the top-right of the ground floor to find some hint art. It shows the Cap Kingdom - so fly there, and walk from the Odyssey to the first bridge in front of you. You'll need to line up the large, hat-looking tower with the moon behind it, so that it perfectly re-creates the picture (take note of how much of the moon is visible in the picture). When you're in the right spot, perform a ground pound to discover a Power Moon.Up ahead on the path above the one you came in through, you’ll find another treasure chest with 8 Coins you can jump up into, and nearby you’ll find Toad being harassed by a Goomba. Defeat it, and Toad will thank you with a Honey Syrup item, which you can use to regain lost Flower Points needed to perform your special moves like Jump. Perched on the Castle Roof: Just to the west of the castle you'll find a scarecrow - throw Cappy at this scarecrow to reveal a staircase to the castle's roof. When you're on the roof, head over to the northeast corner of it to find a Power Moon hovering over a spire. In the third area, Croco will again sprint off to the north, goading you to chase him several times while dodging Goombas and Spineys. The third time he sprints off, he’ll head to the northwest, so don’t be confused by the dead end with a K-9 in the northeast.

The Castle is notable for being primarily inhabited by Toads. The primary currency of the Mushroom Kingdom are purple Star Coins; however, they also accept regular gold coins.

#1: Under the Item Shop

The rest of the area cannot be explored until after rescuing Princess Peach from Bowser in the Moon Kingdom, after which the Odyssey can fly to the kingdom. Power Stars take the place of Power Moons in this kingdom, though they are still referred to as Power Moons when collected, and they look like regular Power Moons when loaded onto the Odyssey. In the area with the seven stumps and wigglers, head into the stump closest to the entrance (the right stump). Inside, take out the enemies and jump at the above location to find the hidden treasure.
