The Spinney was first class, it was perfectly clean and comfortable. We were bit worried about the road leading to the property as it seemed very steep and narrow, but there is a quiet road which takes you straight in to the village and is very manageable. The floor at top of stairs is very creaky which was bit annoying when you have got 2 babies over to sleep but only minor in the overall very positive experience. Would definitely like to stay at The Spinney again. Heading further afield is easy via the M4 to the north and Cardiff's busy mainline train station, but staying cocooned within this tranquil landscape and enjoying living in this gorgeous house is by far the preferable option, but when you do have to travel outside its gates, it will forever be an absolute dream property to come home to. Our Housing Plus service is designed to make living easier for our customers by offering affordable quality accommodation alongside a range of housing and wellbeing support services. Larger groups or families will love the freedom this location brings. Stroll to the shops or out for a coffee, then wander to Waterhead Pier to take a cruise on the Lake. Windermere Lake Cruises depart regularly from Waterhead Pier (just outside the village centre) and provide a scenic and car free route to Bowness and Lakeside. A fabulous way for all to explore.

Loved the fact that it had a bin set aside for dog mess, all too often we have to take it out with us in the car to dispose of. But The Spinney is also a place for the best BBQs and parties too, with an abundance of terraces and patios to host family and friends including a bright pink pergola and a massive house-hugging terrace Both Sarah and her handyman Danny were very welcoming and helpful during our stay, recommending places of interest, great places to eat, nearby walks, local knowledge etc etc. Occupying the whole east wing of the house, the bedroom is a serene sanctuary to cloak you in peace and the perfect place to easily induce sleep.Nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty and in an area of specific scientific interest, The Spinney sits within 50 meters of the Royal Military Canal, with a wealth of wildlife a few steps away. You can enjoy fishing, ambling along one of the many footpaths, or boating and kayaking. Surrounded by farmland we have amazing uninterrupted views of the Kent countryside. If you are into nature and the great outdoors, this is the place for you. We are right on the National Cycle network, leading through the Romney Marsh and down to the coast. The perfect flow of this property continues with a large double doorway connecting the orangery to the sizable luxury kitchen next door.
The Spinney is a home that has family and friends at the core but can offer secret spaces and quiet hideaways too, and it's a home that can easily morph itself into whatever is desired. But it's not just a space for getting cosy by the fire on a chilly winter evening, it's a room to welcome you any time of the year boasting substantial glass doors out to the garden in two directions - to the massive front terrace with huge views to match or the cosier patio at the rear of the house. Ideally located close to local shops, schools and amenities as well as excellent transport links including A414, M11 and Theydon Bois tube station. Massive misspelling hunt. All bedrooms are spacious, with lovely outlooks but the master suite with glass doors to the balcony provides a romantic escape! The property is family friendly.

If there is one issue it is there is only 1 parking space out the front of the property and although there are 2 visitor spaces just 30 yards down the road, these are quite tight spaces.
