The book starts off intense with a charged undercurrent between this couple, and the author manages to carry that emotion throughout the entire story. It’s not just a love story; it’s a lesson in life. In my opinion, the life lessons are ones we all can relate – learning to take risks, accepting the surprises life throws at you and learning to stand on your own and yet, know when the time is right to accept help. The thing about pain, whether physical or emotional, is there's no running away. You can't escape it and you can't hide from it."

The author writes so beautifully the location of Butler Cove, South Carolina. I was transported there on a vacation. I didn’t want to leave.
